Return Policy
1. Within 30 days *
Any request for an exchange, a replacement or a refund must be made within 30 days * from the date of shipment, if item was purchased online. We only accept returned item(s) with a Return Authorization (RA) Code. Such request can be made in store, or in writing to: Hung Phat USA Diamonds & Jewelry, 1111 Story Road Suite #1063 San Jose CA 95122 or by contacting our customer service at 1-888-999-1751.
2. Return Authorization
Upon contacting us for a replacement, refund or exchange of items bought online and upon the approval of the return, we will issue you a Return Authorization (RA) code that must accompany the items being returned.
3. Acceptable Returning Items
- Items will only be exchanged, replaced, or refunded if they are unworn and returned to us in their original purchased condition. Items must be returned with their original receipt, all their original packaging, certificates, warranty documents, accessories, and complimentary gifts, as applicable.
- "Final Sale" items cannot be returned, exchanged or replaced.
- No exchange, replacement or refund will be provided for engraved or customized items, with the exception of defective item(s) or production inaccuracy on our part, in which case, a replacement will be provided.
4. Guaranteed Item
Please return items in store, or if they are sent to us by mail, ensure that items are in secure packaging and sent by registered mail. We strongly recommend that you insure all items at their full price. As a precaution against theft, please do not display any information on the outside of the package that would indicate its content. Hung Phat USA Diamonds & Jewelry cannot be held liable for any loss or damage that occurs during shipping.
5. Return Shipping Fee
Hung Phat USA Diamonds & Jewelry is not responsible for shipping, handling, or insurance charges for any returned items, unless the returned item(s) is/are due to a production mistake or defective on our part. Otherwise, we reserve the right to deduct our shipping and handling costs plus a 15% restocking fee from the original purchase amount.
6. Insure Your Package
On your invoice, if the price of the item you're returning is listed as:
- Less than $500: You can ship it via any carrier. Be sure to ship your item fully insured and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached its destination.
- More than $500: Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered MailTM, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached Hung Phat USA Diamonds & Jewelry.* (FedEx® and UPS® will not insure merchandise over $500.
- More than $25,000: High value returns often require special arrangements. We recommend contacting a Hung Phat USA Diamond & Jewelry Consultant to receive assistance and suggested methods to return your purchase.
7. Loose Diamonds Certification
All Loose Diamonds come with proper certification. HungPhatUSA.com provides the finest quality diamonds. Therefore, the diamond Grading Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), European Gemological Laboratory (EGL), or the American Gem Society (AGS) will accompany our loose diamond inventory. These laboratories are well recognized worldwide as the most respected diamond graders. By supplying Lab Certificates, Appraisals and/or Grading Certificates from GIA, EGL and/or AGS for its merchandise, HungPhatUSA.com accepts and supports such documents exclusively as proof of the identity and quality of the corresponding merchandise. In the event that the customer wishes to have merchandise examined by another laboratory, grading entity, or jeweler, HungPhatUSA.com will not be responsible for those results, which will simply serve as the customer’s reference items.
If your item was delivered with a diamond grading certificate and that certificate is not returned, you may be liable for the $250 replacement cost.
8. Refund Methods
Upon receiving the returned item, in the case of a refund we will credit your account within 5 business days using the method of payment used in the original purchase. In the case of a replacement or an exchange, we will make our best efforts to provide you with the requested item in the shortest delay possible. Please confirm the delay period with one of our representatives.

Any returned/dishonored check, we’ll charge a $25 fee. All cancellation required our approval. Cancellation of order within 24 hour will be charged proportionally to the labor provided. NO cancellation will be granted after 24 hours.
